Back in December of 2006, I was contact by JV from Team Ferior Sports about a link exchange. It's a wonderful site that aims to help deserving kids learn the sport of hockey. Their latest goal is to help out Newark Eastside with new equipment in order to get them up and skating by October 1st. A great cause headed by a great man. They're Flyer fans, but hey. No one's perfect.
In 1987, a group of retired Blackhawk players got together to discuss their future in the Chicago community. Their main objective was to "give something back" to Chicago and to the sport of hockey.
The Blackhawk Standby's Inc. is the oldest fan club in the National Hockey League. The club was founded in 1944 by a group of fans sitting in the first balcony of the Chicago Stadium. Its express purpose was to keep hockey fans together over the years.
Ticketmaster's a joke, we all know that. Perhaps StubHub is a viable alternative. Then again, it's not like the Blackhawks sell out but 4 times a year. Walk up to the box office on game day - you'll have your choice of virtually any seat.
